AmµLED™ polychrome projector is only 0.4cc in volume, has a diagonal FOV of 30° & integrates JBD's R, G & B 0.13” diagonal VGA displays. In the polychrome module projector, a x-cube prism is used to combine images from three individual monochrome panels attached to the faces of the X-cube prism. The projector can typically deliver luminous flux of 3.3lm. It is a microLED light engine and only the pixels that are switched ON consume power as opposed to a LCoS, LBS or DLP light engine that requires an illumination source continuously operating at maximum power to deliver maximum brightness. The projectors are compatible with both diffractive and reflective waveguides typically delivering 1000 – 3000 nits to the eye.
